Currently, Andrey Bryukhovetskiy is the Senior Research Scientist of the National Research Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology of the School of Biomedicine of the Far Eastern Federal University and the Director General of the NeuroVita Clinic of Interventional and Restorative Neurology and Therapy. Prof. Bryukhovetskiy is the neurologist of the top qualification, vice-president of the International Association of Neurorestoratology, member of the editorial board of the Russian Journal Gheni i Kletki (Genes and Cells), the Journal of Translational Neuroscience and Clinics and the Journal of Neurorestoratology. Prof. Bryukhovetskiy started using stem cells in his clinical practice since 1989 within the framework of the programs of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

• From 1982 to 2002 Andrey Bryukhovetskiy was an officer in the Medical Service of the Russian Navy and in August 2002 retired from the position of the Chief Neurologist of the Russian Navy as the colonel of Medical Naval Service.
• From 1996 to 2002 he headed the Interdepartmental Laboratory of Neurotransplantology and Tissue Engineering for Neural Diseases at the Scientific Research Institute of Transplantology and Artificial Organs of the Russian Ministry of Health
• From 1999 to 2002 – Professor of the Department of Biomedical Appliances and Technologies at the Moscow Academy of Instrument Engineering and Information Sciences
• From 2005 to 2008 – Head of the Chair of Cell Reparative Medicine of the Pirogov Russian State Medical University.
• 2012 - December 2015 – Head of the Center of Biomedical Technologies of FGBU “Federal Research Center for Specialized Types of Medical Care and Medical Technologies” of FMBA of the Russian Federation

Prof. Andrey Bryukhovetskiy is the author of 16 research articles in the peer-reviewed Russian and international journals, 8 research monographs in the sphere of the regenerative medicine, three chapters in edited books, 15 national patents and 5 international patent applications.
